Nevada spoils home opener for Joplin Outlaws

The Outlaws drop their first game of the summer 5-4 to the Griffons

The Griffons break a 0-0 tie with a five-run sixth inning. The Outlaws’ Max Bruff responds with a two-run homer. Joplin pulls within one, but strands two runners in the ninth to fall 5-4.

Joplin is back in action tomorrow, hosting Des Moines at 7pm.
