NEO football holds annual spring game
The Norsemen are 3 months from their opener
MIAMI, Okla. — NEO football fans had a chance to get a first glimpse at the 2019 team on Thursday night at NEO’s annual spring game.
“We&39;re going to make a lot of plays on both sides of the ball. Our effort is at a point we should be pretty happy.”

The team split into gold and blue and played two 15-minute quarters.
The gold squad came out on top 17-14, behind receiving touchdowns from Johnny King and Chris Potts.
“I value balance in what we do,” says NEO head coach Zach Allen, “Being able to run the ball, throw the ball, tackle. We’re going to give up some plays, but we’re going to make a lot of plays on both sides of the ball. Obviously, the defense is going to be ahead of the offense in just about every spring situation, just because there’s not a whole lot they haven’t seen in the last 18 practices. I think both sides of the ball, our effort is at a point where we should be pretty happy.”
