Natalie K. Alumbaugh, 56, of Edna, passed away at 8:47 a.m., Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Labette Health ER.
Natalie Kaye Lerner was born on April 2, 1966, to Richard Eugene and Kathryn Anne (Todd) Lerner in Elko, Nevada. Her parents served in the military, so Natalie grew up and went to school various places.
Following high school, she earned a Master’s degree in accounting. For several years, Natalie worked as an accountant in a law office in Washington state.
Her greatest joy and love in life was being a wife, mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed reading and doing puzzles.
On February 15, 1992, Natalie and Lester L. Alumbaugh were united in marriage in Wichita, Kansas. He survives of the home.

Her husband – Lester L. Alumbaugh, of the home
Three sons – Richard Alumbaugh of Wichita, Kansas
Sean Alumbaugh and his wife, Amanda of Caney, Kansas
Dylan Alumbaugh and his wife, Taylor, of Andover, Kansas
One daughter – Jennifer Alumbaugh of Elk City, Kansas
Six grandchildren – Caden, Mason, Jace, Gideon, Davriel and Anna Lynn
Her adopted father – William Thompson of Colorado Springs, Colorado
Two brothers – Mark Thompson and his wife, Michelle, of Colorado Springs, Colorado
Raymond Lerner and his wife, Trudy, of Puyallup, Washington
She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant daughter, Miranda Dawn Alumbaugh.
There will be a private family memorial service at a later date.
