Mununga (NEO) named NJCAA DI Women’s Player of the Week
Mununga averaged 22 ppg and 16 rpg last week
MIAMI, Okla. — NEO sophomore Bethy Mununga has been on fire to start the season for NEO Lady Norse.
Mununga has picked up twelve double-doubles in the first 13 games of the season, leading the Norse to a 9-4 record and a #25 ranking in the latest national poll released this week.
For her performance in NEO’s four games last week, Mununga has been named the NJCAA DI Women’s Player of the Week. In those four games, she averaged 22 points and 16 rebounds per game, while also blocking more than two shots per contest.
NEO will play Missouri Southern’s JV squad Wednesday night in their final game before the holiday break.
