Multiple-vehicle crash in McDonald County claims the life of two Missouri men; one Juvenile

MCDONALD COUNTY, Mo. – A multiple-vehicle crash in Pineville, Missouri resulted in three deaths after a southbound vehicle on US-71 struck a northbound juvenile driver.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, a Nissan Versa driven by Kyler Johnson entered the wrong lane while traveling on US-71.

Police say the Versa then struck a Toyota Prius driven by a 17-year-old female in the northbound lane.

As a result of the crash, McDonald County Coroner Jonathan Fletcher pronounced all three occupants of the versa: including occupant Joseph Lynch, 58, and a 15-year-old male, deceased.

MHP says the 17-year-old Prius driver is in serious condition.
