Multiple Hazards Threaten the Central U.S; California Snow

A front is bringing multiple hazards to the central U.S. A streak of heavy snow and freezing rain is expected from Wyoming into Minnesota. Severe thunderstorms and locally heavy rain are possible in the Central Plains and the Upper Midwest. There is a critical fire weather threat from southern New Mexico to central Kansas. A second storm continues to bring heavy snow to the California mountains.
