Mr. Food: Farmhouse Tortellini Skillet
What You’ll Need
1 (19-ounce) package frozen cheese tortellini
1/2 stick butter
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 (8-ounce) block cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks, thawed
1 cup frozen peas, thawed
1 1/2 cups diced cooked ham
What to Do
Cook the tortellini according to package directions; drain.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add milk and pepper; heat 5 minutes or until hot, stirring occasionally. Stir in cheese and ground mustard and cook 3 to 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Stir in pineapple, peas, and ham and heat 5 to 7 minutes or until heated through.
Add cheese tortellini and heat for 2 minutes or until the sauce begins to thicken slightly; serve.
