Mr. Food: Cheesy Bacon Pierogi Bake
What You’ll Need
1/2 cup chicken broth
4 ounces cream cheese
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 (16-ounce) packages frozen potato and onion pierogies, cooked according to package directions, using the boil method
4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
2 scallions, sliced
What to Do
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Coat a 2-quart baking dish with cooking spray.
In a soup pot over medium heat, combine chicken broth, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and pepper. Whisk 4 to 6 minutes or until smooth. Gently stir the pierogies into the mixture and pour into baking dish.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbly. Sprinkle with bacon and scallions; serve immediately.
