Mr. Food: Bacon Corn Bread

What You’ll Need

1 cup sour cream
1 cup milk
1 egg
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 1/2 cups yellow cornmeal
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup real bacon bits
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

What to Do

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Coat an 8-inch square baking dish with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, whisk sour cream, milk, egg, and butter. Add remaining ingredients and whisk until mixed. Pour batter into baking dish.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool 15 minutes, then cut into squares and serve warm.
