Mowing forecast – June 29th-July 2nd
Watching rain chances and the heat
For the next four days, we’re putting each day as a fair as we watch a wave with rain chances and some summer heat and humidity. For Monday, we’ll have some scattered t-storms around with our mostly cloudy skies keeping us in the upper 80s for afternoon highs. Not everyone is expected to see the t-storms on Monday, but we’ll have the chance around. Tuesday could have a random t-storm or two, but the bigger issue is highs going back into the lower to middle 90s with high dewpoints making it feel close to 100° during the afternoon. If you can, maybe tend to the yard in the morning or as we get into the evening. No rain to worry about on Wednesday, but we’ll have highs in the middle 90s with it feeling like 100°-105° during the middle of the afternoon. Another day where any mowing or yard work is best left for the morning or evening. Thursday will have some isolated t-storm chances returning during the afternoon. The heat and humidity will back down a little and that will leave us with a fair rating for Thursday.
