Mowing forecast – August 2nd-5th

Looking pretty good to start the week

Looking at your mowing forecast to start the first full week of August, it’s looking pretty good overall. We rated Sunday a fair due to the morning starting out dry with mild temperatures. We’ll warm into the lower to middle 80s for the afternoon as a cold front tries to fire off some scattered t-storms. If you can dodge the storms for the afternoon, Sunday is looking okay for yard work. We have Monday and Tuesday pegged as the better days with a good rating. Aside from an outside t-storm chance Monday afternoon, both days will have morning starting a bit chilly before highs climb into the upper 70s. That’s about as perfect as you can get for yard work weather for early August. We drop the rating back to a fair on Wednesday with a wave wanting to fire off an isolated t-storm or two during the afternoon. Aside from that, we’ll start a bit chilly for Wednesday morning with most areas staying dry and warm with highs back in the lower 80s.
