Motorcyclist suffers traumatic injuries in crash near Downtown Joplin
Cpl Brett Davis of the Joplin Police Dept tells us details on scene at 4th and Jackson
JOPLIN, Mo. – About 2 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2022 reports of a crash involving a motorcycle at 4th and Jackson alerted Joplin Emergency Dispatch.
Joplin Fire Dept, Joplin Police Dept and METS ambulance responded emergency.
Cpl Brett Davis of the Joplin Police Dept tells us on scene, a southbound Chevy Equinox on Jackson Ave collided with a man on a motorcycle traveling east on 4th.
The adult male was transported Priority One to an area hospital suffering traumatic injuries to his lower legs.
The motorcycle operator was wearing a helmet.
Cpl Davis says the Chevy Equinox was driven from the scene. The driver was not injured.
Nixon’s Towing removed the motorcycle and debris from the crash scene.
