MIAMI, Okla. – A 15-year-old Miami, Oklahoma resident is in critical condition after colliding with a semi-truck at the intersection of State Highway 125 and 120 Road, 2 miles south of Miami, Oklahoma.

According to a collision report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the juvenile was riding a motorcycle, traveling southbound on SH125 when they attempted to turn eastbound on 120RD and were struck by the semi, driven by 40 y/o Jumar Kelly of Parsons, which was traveling northbound.

The juvenile sustained head, arm, leg, and internal injuries and was transported to Mercy Medical Center in Joplin where they are currently in critical condition.

The official cause of the collision is currently under investigation.
