MoDOT lists Joplin among human trafficking hotspots
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Transportation raises awareness for human trafficking.
MoDOT claims that interstates throughout Missouri are the most common places for human trafficking to occur. As a result, Joplin claims a spot on the trafficking hub list in Missouri.
According to MoDOT, “Staying vigilant and aware of your surroundings are the best ways to help ‘Put the Brakes on Human Trafficking'”.
