Missouri fire district seeks tax levy to increase staffing
PURCELL, Mo. – Tri-Cities Fire Protection District seeks to pass a tax levy that would help increase staffing.
The district currently covers the following towns:
- Alba
- Purcell
- Neck City
- Cossville
- Galesburg
If passed, the tax levy would allow the Tri-Cities district to hire another daytime firefighter, bringing the total to three.
This Saturday, the Fire District will host an open house from 4-6 pm to hear from residents.
