JASPER COUNTY, Mo. – Authorities say a 5-year-old has died of an accidental drowning after she went missing Saturday in Jasper County.
On August 9, 2020, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office went to a home on S. Meadow Lane to help the Duquesne Police search for a missing 5-year-old girl. Sheriff Randee Kaiser says a K-9 officer was called to perform a track to help search the surrounding area.
During the search, members of the Duequesne Fire Department found the girl in a swimming pool at a home on 26th Street, a few blocks away from the home on S. Meadow Lane.
