Miners Hall Museum hosts cookie-making event

 

FRANKLIN, Kan. – Miners Hall Museum in Franklin today hosted ‘A Taste of Arma’ to demonstrate different types of baking from around the world.

During the event, Rachelle Mengarelli gave a French Cookie demonstration. Mengarelli taught participants all they needed to know to make the pastries themselves.

Officials say the program is hosted in conjunction with its quarterly exhibit ‘Coal Camp – Arma’  hosted by Christie Parish.

Doors opened at 1:45 p.m. for the free event.
