Miami’s Satterwhite signs to KU football
Satterwhite was the 4A district 3 Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2019.
MIAMI, Okla. – Miami High School senior Jackson Satterwhite signed on Wednesday to continue his football career with Les Miles and the Kansas Jayhawks.
Satterwhite is a 6-5, 258 pound offensive lineman who was ranked as the 18th-best player in Oklahoma by Rivals.com. He was actually KU’s first commitment in the 2020 class.
“What I was looking for in my coaches, I want guys that are going to be real with me throughout my whole career,” Satterwhite says, “I got to talk to coach Miles and it was a deal sealer you know. I mean, to be able to play for a hall of fame college football coach is pretty awesome.”
Satterwhite was the 4A district 3 Offensive Lineman of the Year last season for the Wardogs.
“I’m willing to do whatever it takes to help the team get better and help the team win more games,” he adds, “Miles is a Hall of Fame coach. I’m going to listen to him. That’s kind of where I’m at with that.”
