Miami installs new pirate ship-themed playground equipment

MIAMI, Okla. — There’s a new playground in Miami thanks to a grant.

The city of Miami Park Crew has finished installing pirate ship-themed equipment including slides, a climbing apparatus, crow’s nests, a walking bridge, and a swing set.

The equipment was paid for with a $24,000 tobacco settlement endowment trust, or TEST, grant.

It is located at the Splash Pad Park area on the Truck Route in Miami.
