JOPLIN, Mo. – Mercy is making changes where needed during the COVID-19 pandemic. The health system joins others in possible furloughs.

Mercy Communication Specialist for Joplin Jordan Larimore says the health system is working to temporarily redeploy employees wherever possible as a response to the COVID-19 crisis. Mercy has also developed a furlough pay program if there are employees who can’t be redeployed.

Mercy Joplin says they have not placed anyone on unpaid furlough.
