JASPER COUNTY, Mo. — Memorial Day at 3 p.m. local time, Americans are asked to take part in the National Moment of Remembrance.

National Moment of Remembrance was designated by Congress in 2000, all Americans are asked to pause for a minute of silence in remembrance and honor of those who have died serving America.

Everyone is urged to stop whatever you are doing and pause to remember and honor the fallen.
