Meal to be provided for those affected by floods in Neosho

Guardians Brotherhood, Inc., a volunteer-only based 501(c)(3) Hunger Reduction Organization to provide a variety of Chicken, Hot dogs, Burgers and Fries to families in Neosho with the help of the Neosho City Government and Council of Churches’ Crosslines program.

The event will be on Saturday, August 17, 2019 in N. Morse Park in Neosho, Missouri from noon to 5:00 p.m.

Guardians Brotherhood’s volunteers are primarily veterans that just want to continue to serve and use their vast experience gained in military service to help in their community.

“We will be at N. Morse park serving chicken, hot dogs, burgers and fries to anybody that wants to come. We have enough food to feed 1000 and we will serve until it’s all gone,” says Michael Murrell from Guardians Brotherhood.

Joining us this weekend will be the Mayor of Neosho, the Honorable Ben Baker, Missouri State Representative for the 160th District, as well as VFW Post 4142 and representatives from True North Enterprises.
