McDonald County Schools dealing with substitute teacher shortage
McDONALD COUNTY, Mo. — the McDonald County School District says it’s dealing with a substitute teacher shortage.
The district says it normally has about 60 subs, but this year they’re down to 40.
The shortage means it’s harder for classrooms when a teacher needs to take a sick day and it prevents many of them from attending professional development seminars.
