McDonald County adds six new cases of COVID-19, county total now at 14

MCDONALD COUNTY, Mo. – Health officials confirm six new cases of COVID-19 as of May 18. 2020 in McDonald County, Missouri, bringing the county total to 14.

The McDonald County Health Department four of the six new cases are located in the southeast quadrant of the county. Health officials say those patients did not have symptoms and are isolating.

Two of the six new cases are located in the southwest quadrant of McDonald County. Those patients did have symptoms and are also isolating.

Health officials say none of the new cases in the county are travel related.

Missouri’s total number on the state’s health department website as of May 17 is 10,789,
