McCune Farm to Market hosts soap making class

McCune Farm to Market in McCune, Kansas offered a soap making class, one of many classes they offer on Sundays.

According to the owner, they have held around 70 classes that range from learning to can things, make cheese, French cookies, fudge making, painting classes and more.

McCune Farm to Market likes to offer the public ways to make things homemade.

The soap making class was a way to learn something new and possibly gift the creations for the holidays

“We raise a lot of local things, we sell a lot of locally made things, local produce, and local meats so there’s a huge hunger for that in our area and with that comes I think a desire to know how to do things” said Owner, Cherie Schenker.

The next class they are offering is a French cookie making class.

All their events can be found on their Facebook page, McCune Farm to Market.
