Maynard Fredrick Timm

Maynard Timm, age 79, of Mount Vernon, Missouri, formerly of Denver, Colorado went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 19, 2022. Maynard was born March 27, 1943, in Alexandria, Minnesota, to Fred and Allien (Angen) Timm. At age 9 his family moved to Littleton, Colorado. He attended Denver Lutheran High School and graduated from Littleton High School in 1961.

After working for a machinist company, Maynard went on to work in the heavy equipment industry for over 36 years as a parts specialist. He was a dedicated employee and always sought to do his best for his company and their customers. He retired in 2007.

In 1971 he married Grace Kleiboeker and shared a happy marriage for over 51 years. Maynard was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. His faith was very important to him, and he was not afraid to share it.

In his younger age Maynard was interested in hunting. He was also interested in American Saddlebred horses. He enjoyed attending horse show competitions and riding horses, owning several over the years. Later his interest changed to fishing. He was a member of the Colorado Walleye Association and always enjoyed being out on the lake and he ultimately caught that 10-pound one ounce Walleye. He was always up for a camping trip with close family friends and was an avid fan of Denver sports teams including the Broncos, Rockies, and Nuggets.

Family was always very important to Maynard. He was a dedicated husband, father, and brother. He made a point to travel to see extended family and friends. Trips to Minnesota and Missouri were full of many stops to try to see everyone he could and still fit in some time for fishing.

Maynard is survived by his wife, Grace Timm of Mount Vernon; one daughter, Julie (Tim) Mesaros of Littleton, Colorado; one son, Jonathan (Jennifer) Timm of Monticello, Indiana; four grandchildren, Chris Mesaros, Theresa Mesaros, Jace Stoops and Jorja Timm; five nieces and nephews, Karla Storlien, Colin Smialek, Kristen Grandon, Becky Thompson and Jennifer Stratton as well as a Godchild, Rebecca McGlaughlin.
