Marilyn J. Weltmer-Robison

Mission, KS: Marilyn J. (Elliott) Weltmer-Robison, age 90 of Mission, KS, passed away at 5:50 PM on Sunday, October 10, 2021.
Marilyn was born in Hallowell, KS on February 26, 1931 to the union of Ernest E. Elliott and Maxine M. (Bramlett) Elliott. She graduated from Oswego High School, and later attended Labette County Community College. She worked as a bookkeeper for Continental Can, Mound Valley Coop, and Dennis Coop before her retirement.
She was united in marriage with Harold M. Weltmer. They were blessed with three children: Dean, Arlene, and Karen. They made their home on a farm in rural Mound Valley until he preceded her in death. She later married Wilford “Willy” Robison on June 6, 2001. He preceded her in death on October 14, 2014.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Maxine Elliott; and one brother, Leland Elliott.
Survivors include one son, Dean Weltmer (wife, Linda) of Prairie Village, KS; two daughters, Arlene Shelton (husband, Tommie) of Altamont, KS, and Karen Winsett (husband, Brad) of Eagle Rock, MO; one sister-in-law, Karen Elliott of Manhattan, KS; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Private family graveside service will take place at Oswego Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Derfelt Funeral Home of Oswego.
