Marian Days: Where faith meets culture
During his Marian Days adventures, Jesse met up with Father John Paul and Father Tim to discuss the importance of religion at the festival and Catholicism in Vietnamese culture.
While the festival initially started as a religious festival and a way for Vietnamese Americans to come together to worship, it has now become a celebration of Vietnamese culture.
It also gives second and third generation Vietnamese Americans the opportunity to experience an authentic Vietnamese community, filled almost entirely with Vietnamese people and traditions.
