Margie Lee Goodwin, 89, a resident of Fairland, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday, July 27, 2022. She was born on July 16, 1933 to Chester and Cordelia (Harris) Henderson in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. Margie graduated from Fort Cobb High School. She worked for Glen Berry in Commerce, Oklahoma for sixteen years, after that she worked for Eagle Picher, and then for the State of Oklahoma as home health care and nutrition assistant until she retired in 1998. Margie loved her family. She devoted herself to her family and grandchildren. When she was not with her family she loved to travel and see new places. Margie is preceded in death by her parents Chester and Cordelia Henderson, first husband, Boyd Goodwin, father to Richard and Randall, second husband, Sherold Goodwin and brothers, Vernon Henderson, Harold Henderson, Robert Henderson, Ralph Henderson, Herbert “Bart” Henderson, and Curtis Henderson.
Those left to share Mrs. Goodwin’s memory are her sons and their wives, Richard Goodwin and his wife Nancy, Randall Goodwin and his wife Debi. Her extended children are Robert Goodwin and his wife Peggy, Kathy Roblin and her husband Wayne, Vicky Johnson-Moore and her husband Steve, Rebecca Pendleton and her husband Terry, Kay Harbour and her husband Delman. Grandchildren include Heather Goodwin-Burrows, Kelsey Cain and husband Chris, Isaac Goodwin, Daniel Goodwin and his wife Lacey, Andrea Goodwin-Tanner and her husband Ryan, and Monica Goodwin. Extended grandchildren include Thomas Harbour, Leah Skiles and her husband Josh, Cameron Turner and his wife Dani, Riley Turner and his wife Rose, Zach Johnson and his wife Rebecca, Daron Johnson, Kari Roblin-Hill and her husband Dave, Kimberly Roblin and her boyfriend Eric Singleton. Great-Grandchildren include Griffin Fulton, Gracie Fulton, June Goodwin, Margo Goodwin, Camden Cain, Cash Cain, Caroline Cain, Cooper Cain, Cordelia Mae Cain, Dane Hill, Alex Hill, Erin Hill, Liam Turner, and Landon Turner. Mrs. Goodwin also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews in the Henderson family legacy.

In lieu of flowers the family encourages donations be sent to the American Cancer Society, Alzheimer’s Association Oklahoma Chapter, or the Church of your choosing.
