Man hospitalized after single-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 69

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Kan. – Kansas Highway Patrol Officers and Cherokee County Deputies today responded to a rollover crash on Highway 69.

Officers say the crash happened just after 9:00 A.M., about mile north of KOAM’s Pittsburg studio.

While on the scene, we learned that a driver was traveling southbound when he left the roadway and rolled his vehicle 150 feet into a field.

Deputies later identified the driver as Travis Roberts.

Firefighters on the scene say they removed Roberts from his vehicle using the Jaws of Life.

Emergency services then transported Roberts to Via Christi Hospital

Officers are yet to release any information regarding Roberts’s condition.
