TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa police say a 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that left a 1-year-old toddler in critical condition. Police Lt. Brandon Watkins says Javontay Jones is being held without bond on three complaints of shooting with intent to kill and possession of a firearm after former conviction of a felony. Jones is accused of opening fire on an SUV Friday outside a Tulsa apartment complex. One of the bullets struck a baby that was in a car seat inside the vehicle. Watkins says the toddler remained hospitalized on Monday, but the baby’s condition wasn’t known.
