Long-time musical program inducted into MSSU’s Regional Broadcasting Hall of Fame

JOPLIN, Mo. – The Missouri Southern State University inducted ‘Melody Matinee’ into its Regional Media Hall of Fame today, May 3rd.

Melody Matinee began its performances on KOAM-TV, and the program ran for more than 30 years.

The program featured many different musical performers and performances.

Dale Switzer produced a recent documentary on the program and stated ‘Melody Matinee and its host, Lou Martin, captured the spirit of the 4-States’.
