Lola Ruth Cleek

Lola Ruth Cleek, age 88, of Springfield, Missouri, formerly of Aurora, Missouri, passed away from a brain aneurysm at 1:48 a.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at the Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. She was born October 4, 1932, in Billings, Missouri, the daughter of Troy and Edith (Lambeth) Crumpley.
Lola was a 1950 graduate of Aurora High School and was a sales associate for Walmart. She attended Glendale Christian Church in Springfield. Lola loved working in her flower garden, baking and chocolate and she was a beloved, devoted and kind mother.
On January 20, 1951, she married Billie Davis Cleek in Aurora. He preceded her in death on February 26, 2008.
Lola is survived by her daughter, Sarah Williams and her husband, Kyle, of Rogersville, Missouri; three sons, Bill Cleek of Aurora, Ed Cleek and his wife, Betty, of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Alan Cleek and his wife, Linn, of Springfield; two nieces, Christie Warren and her husband, Tom, of Ozark, Missouri and Cathy Wingo and her husband, Ron, of Webb City, Missouri; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and her beloved faithful furry companion, Ginger.
Lola was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Edith, husband, Billie, and her sister, Catherine Provance and her husband, Roy.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
