Local WWII Veteran celebrates his 100th birthday with friends and family

He celebrated with his daughter Vicky and his two sisters Anna and Natalie who are 98 and 96 years old.

REDFIELD, Ks. – A local World War II, Air Force Veteran celebrated his 100th birthday today.

Glenn Post’s birthday is actually on June 2nd, but he celebrated early with a birthday party surrounded by friends and family at Paint Creek Church.

Glenn received the American flag, a medallion and a membership to the American Legion post 25 out of Fort Scott.

He celebrated with his daughter Vicky McWilliams and his two sisters Anna Bybee and Natalie Comstock who are 98 and 96 years old.

“Be thankful to do the things we can do at our age and want to thank the dear Lord for letting us be at the good health that we are at our age” said Anna Bybee, Glenn’s sister.

Glenn also received a tribute plaque for reaching the milestone age of 100 from Kansas representative Trevor Jacobs. who was also in attendance.
