Local standouts return to Parsons for youth basketball camp

Nena Taylor, Magic Reliford and more give back to the Parsons community Friday.

PARSONS, Kan. – (WATCH) Former southeast Kansas High School basketball standouts – on break from their college teams – return to Parsons to give back to their hometown community for a youth camp Friday night.

The camp was put on by Future Scholars Club, led by coach Lee Reliford, Sr.

Parsons High School graduates Nena Taylor (Oral Roberts), Dariq Williams (Neosho CC), Davonte Yates (Baptist Bible College) and Miles Hogan (Culver-Stockton) – as well as Labette County High School product Magic Reliford (Pittsburg State) – were among the players helping with camp Friday night.
