Local non-profit shows its support for the Joplin Police Department

JOPLIN, Mo. – A local non-profit today showed its support for the Joplin Police Department.

Joplin’s Community Support Services of Missouri donated $4,500 to the JPD. Officials with the CSSM say they raised money through a Spaghetti Feed fundraiser for Officer Reid and Corporal Cooper back in April.

The organization serves people with disabilities and works closely with the police department for assistance when additional support is needed.

Officials with the non-profit say they want that close relationship to continue.
