PITTSBURG, Kan. – The Southeast Kansas Humane Society hosted its 1st Microchip Clinic today, June 12.
For $20, pet owners had the opportunity to microchip their cat or dog.
Officials say the chip is the size of a grain of rice and only takes a few seconds to implant. Owners can register their pets online with the information provided with the chip.
For those interested in adopting, the humane society is waving dog adoption fees on June 18 & 19.
