Local high school host Zumbathon for fundraising

Webb City High School held a Zumbathon to raise money for project graduation.
For three hours parents, students, and faculty did Zumba led by an instructor, Each participant paid $15. The proceeds will benefit graduating seniors. Project graduation is held directly after commencement offering activities for students, giveaways, and prizes.
Organizers with project graduation say they need about $25,000 for the event.
“We like to combine physical activities to raise money for them, because it’s a healthy event [project graduation] and we want the kids to be involved. So all of our fund raisers have something to do with fitness,” said organizer Mellissa Reed.
The group will hold a golf tournament in March to continue raising funds.
