Lions Golf Tied for Fourth After Day 1 of David Falconer Classic

The Missouri Southern Golf Team is in a tie for fourth after day 1 at the David Falconer Classic hosted by Arkansas Tech at the Chamberlyne Country Club.
Ryan Buerk led the Lions in round 1 with a one under par 71. Chas Goines finished with a 76, Connor Neil carded a 77, Trae Fairchild finished with an 81 and Taylor Lansford carded an 82 for a team total of 305.Ethan Hutcheson, competing as an individual, carded a round one of 86. “I thought our guys played pretty well despite the cold, rainy weather,” said Coach Wheeler.
The Lions are tied for fourth with host Arkansas Tech with the team total of 305, six strokes back of the leader Northeastern State. Buerk is sitting in second place with his one under par 71, one stroke behind the leader Marc Johnson of NSU. Goines and Neil are tied for 23rd and 35th respectively while Fairchild is tied for 73 and Lansford tied for 78th. Hutcheson is tied for 98th.
The final day of the David Falconer Classic is scheduled for an 11 am start.
