Lions face a pair of MIAA opponents in non-conference play

The Missouri Southern women’s soccer team continues its nonconference slate on the road against a pair of Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) opponents beginning with Missouri Western on Friday at 8:00 pm and followed by a meeting with the

The Lions (1-3-0) captured their first victory of 2019 on a last-second goal at home against the Drury Panthers last Friday night as a kick from senior Jessica Edwards deflected off a Panther defender into the goal as time expired. Sophomore forward Bailey Belcher leads the squad with two goals through the first two weeks after scoring both of them in a double-overtime thriller against the East Central Tigers last Sunday.
