Governor Mike Parson announced today that Missouri is the first state in the nation to receive a federal grant for rural transit. The grants are part of the national COVID-19 relief efforts under the CARES Act.
The Missouri Department of Transportation will receive a $61.7 million grant, Kansas will receive $38.8 million and Oklahoma will receive $51.3 million.
