Lena Mae Ross

Lena Mae Ross of Quapaw, OK passed from this life Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Maplewood Care Center in Tulsa, OK. She was 61.

Lena was born September 1, 1960 in Joplin, MO to Otis and Beulah (Reeves) Landers. She had lived in Quapaw for the past 26 years moving from Muldrow, OK. Lena was a forklift driver for J – M Farms in Miami, OK and a member of the Spring River Indian Baptist Church in Quapaw, OK.

Lena was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother Bob Landers and 1 step-sister.

Survivors include James Scott of the home and 1 son, William Ross of Quapaw, OK.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Spring River Indian Baptist Church, SE of Quapaw, OK. Rev. Kenneth Ferris will officiate. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Melrose, KS. Damon Bender, Chad Sooter, Joe Peters, Pete Sharp, Bucky Washington and Brian Sooter will serve as pallbearers. Lena will lie in state at her home in Quapaw. Services have been placed in the care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
