Learning about World War One
Anybody paying a visit to Webb City’s King Jack Park Saturday morning got a take a trip back in time and learn about World War One. A group of WWI reenactors displayed uniforms, field equipment, impressions for those who stopped by the park.
Their uniforms and the equipment they displayed were all originals from that era. The reenactors presented what it was like to cross the Atlantic and do the work of hospital nurses and doughboys.
This year marks the 100 year anniversary of the end of World War One with the official day being on November 11th.
