Late Sunday November 10th – Messy Monday lined up for us
Colder air & a wintry mix to contend with
JOPLIN, Mo. — Good late Sunday evening, everyone. I hope that everyone got the chance to enjoy some time outside after our chilly start this morning. With mostly sunny skies for a good portion of the day and a south wind in place, we had highs actually climb into the lower 70s. I guarantee you that we won’t be anywhere close to that for Monday. Our cold front is continuing to work through, and the north wind behind the front is allowing the colder air to work in. Even though we don’t have anything on the radar below late on this Sunday night, we will see rain chances pick up overnight…
The cold front will usher in a much colder Monday across the area. As a couple upper level waves come into play for Monday, our rain chances to start the day will turn into a wintry mix to carry us through the rest of the day. Once we get past our messy Monday, we will stay quiet for most of the week with temperatures eventually warming back up. Your look at the week ahead, including a deeper look at Monday, is down below…
Don’t forget that the long range forecast is down below. Not only does it take us through the rest of month, it covers the early part of next January.
Have a good night and a great Monday!
