Late Saturday December 28th – Cooling down for Sunday
With our next chance for rain by the New Year
Good late Saturday evening, everyone. Our Saturday turned out to be a cloudy and wet one across the area. Thanks to our storm system passing through, we stayed in the clouds all day with periods of rain and t-storms. Later in the afternoon and evening, we had some strong to severe t-storms push on through with some severe t-storm and tornado warnings. Fortunately, we didn’t receive any damage reports as the storms worked in. Despite all of that, we had highs top out in the lower to middle 60s today after we started in the lower 50s this morning.
We’re working on getting the last of the showers out of southwest Missouri tonight. Compared to today, our Sunday is looking quite a bit quieter before some showers try to sneak back in late in the day. We’ll also turn much cooler with temperatures staying in the 40s throughout the day. We’ll keep things quiet before our next chance for rain comes in by the New Year. Your latest look at the week ahead is right below…
Don’t forget that Doug has your long range forecast through the entirety of next month down below.
