Lamar, MO man arrested for allegedly robbing bank
LAMAR, Mo. — Law enforcement in Lamar arrested a man accused of robbing a bank on Thursday morning, around 8:20 a.m. The Lamar Police Department, The Barton County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a call of a robbery in progress at the Community National Bank and Trust.
Authorities say 50-year-old Rowdy Masterson, of Lamar, was leaving the bank as officers arrived on the scene and was quickly taken into custody.
Masterson is charged with attempted second degree robbery, terroristic threats and felony resisting arrest. He is being held on a no bond warrant.
Authorities say there was no weapon displayed and no one from the bank was hurt.
