El Dorado Springs, Mo – A man in Vernon County, Missouri dies after hitting a deer. Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 45-year-old Travis Bryson was driving his car Saturday night. A little after 7:00 P.M. on U.S. 54, just two miles west of El Dorado Springs. He struck a deer, which caused him to go off the road and hit a tree. He died at Cedar County Memorial Hospital.

Lawrence, Ks – Police are investigating a shooting outside a Lawrence sports bar that left three people wounded. The shooting happened around 2 A.M. yesterday morning outside the Playerz Sports Bar on the city’s east side. Officers found a man and a woman in the parking lot with minor injuries. A suspect fled in a car but was stopped by the police a few block away. The suspect was taken to a hosptial with a serious gunshot wound.

Sikeston, Mo – Authorities in Sikeston arrest a murder suspect and recover thousands of dollars worth of narcotics and firearms. Officers arrested 21-year-old Tyren Johnson of SIkeson for First Degree Murder in an Illinois homicide. 20-year-old Eric Curtis of Charleston, Missouri was charged with four counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and a Felony of Unlawful Use of a Weapon. This investigation continues as police move ahead. They are now looking for two other suspects in the homicide.

Joplin, Mo – A Friday night fire leaves a former Joplin Laundromat with damage. Authorities say it may be arson. Joplin Firefighters worked to contain the blaze on the 800 Block of west Second Street. Officials say a mattress was set on fire inside the vacant building, which charred the inside. No injuries were reported. The fire is still under investigation.
