ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Authorities in Oklahoma and Missouri are searching for a man and woman on child abuse and neglect charges. They are looking for 27-year old Hakim Mustafa Moore and 29-year old Robin Alexander. Officials say the pair fled from Oklahoma to Saint Louis to hide from police. Moore and Alexander have five children together. Three are currently in the state of Oklahoma’s custody and are currently in critical condition and a fourth was found dead. Police say they have not yet located the fifth child.

JOPLIN, Mo. – a Joplin man pleads guilty in a child abuse case. David Gordon plead guilty to the charge of second degree domestic assault. Authorities charged Gordon with child abuse in 2017 after his six-week old son was brought to the hospital with a broken leg and other injuries.

PITTSBURG, Kan. – The city of Pittsburg could be facing a lawsuit over a disputed road. In September of 2018 , the city of Pittsburg paved a concrete approach to connect Wild Red Road and east Atkinson for Highlands Housing Development. City Manager Darren Hall says about 85 feet of that approach ended up being inside Frontenac city limits. Now, Frontenac is gearing up to take legal action against Pittsburg to get the portion of road removed. According to hall no suit has been filed yet.

TOPEKA, Kan. – F ormer Kansas Secretary of State and gubernatorial candidate Kris Kobach is running for U.S. Senate. He’s seeking the Republican nomination to fill four-term GOP Senator Pat Roberts’ seat. Roberts won’t seek re-election in 2020. At least 16 prospective candidates have expressed an interest in running for the position.
