MAYES COUNTY, Okla. – The Mayes County Oklahoma Sheriff’s Office partners with the Grand River Dam Authority to find a missing Miami man. The Grand River Dam Authority sent out two boats filled with their officers to search Grand Lake and Grand River for any sign of 61-year old Mark Rogers. Rogers has been missing since December 26, 2018.
TOPEKA, Kan. – Galena, Kansas native and State Treasurer Jake LaTurner, is running for the U.S. Senate in 2020. Laturner declared his candidacy yesterday for the Republican nomination, less than a week after four-term GOP Senator Pat Roberts announced that he will not run for re-election. LaTurner is the first candidate in either major party to officially announce he’s running although others have hinted that they would.
WASHINGTON – President Trump used an oval office address last night to frame the fight for a border wall as a quote “crisis of the heart and soul.” The president blamed democrats for the partial government shutdown that’s now in its 19th day. Mister Trump also repeated the White House’s demand for $5.7 Billion dollars to fund a wall along the Mexican border.
WASHINGTON – President Trump’s former campaign chairman is accused of sharing information with a Russian business associate. Prosecutors say the man Paul Manafort gave polling data to is believed to have ties to Russian intelligence agents. The allegation against Manafort was inadvertently revealed in court papers filed by his attorneys.
