Kansans on SNAP can purchase food online

TOPEKA, Kan – The U.S. Secretary of Agriculture approves online purchases of food for SNAP households in Kansas.

Kansans who receive SNAP can purchase groceries though Amazon and Walmart’s websites.

Kansas has more than 185,000 residents using SNAP with $265 million annually in federal benefits.

Online SNAP purchases were already allowed in Missouri and Oklahoma.
